Bonnie Elizabeth Riley of St. James, Missouri passed away April 7, 2012. Bonnie was born to Donald and Beverly (Shasteen) Riley on July 31, 1987 in Herrin, Illinois. She tragically left this world much too young at the age of 24 years, 8 months and 7 days.
Bonnie was a 2006 graduate of John F. Hodge High School where she proudly served as Class President and a Tiger Cheerleader. Graduating with honors, Bonnie had attended college on the A+ Scholarship and also received the Edward Scholarship. She was named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2007 semester at Ozarks Technical Community College.

Family was a very important part of her life; she loved going to church where she was also very involved. Bonnie enjoyed attending the Little Prairie Bible Camp, where she served as a camp counselor. She and her fiancée, Steve Fornshell were big Kansas City Chiefs fans; Bonnie was a loving fiancée, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Bonnie Elizabeth Riley is survived by her fiancée, Steve Fornshell of Springfield, MO; parents, Donald and Beverly Riley of St. James, MO; brothers, Gene Riley and wife Lynn of Pekin, IL; Chip Riley and wife Heather of St. James, MO; sisters, Shiela Bates and fiancée Jeremy Robertson of Springfield, MO; Andrea Sosonowski and husband Tony of Jefferson City, MO; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many many friends.

Funeral services for Bonnie will be held Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Hwy E. Church of Christ in Rolla, Missouri with Preacher Mike Knappier officiating. Interment will be at the Little Prairie Burial Grounds. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Little Prairie Bible Camp, Wishon Cemetery or to the Riley family.
