Ardella M. Bublitz, age 71, of Watertown, South Dakota passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at her residence. Funeral mass was held on Saturday, on May 2, 2009 at the Immacute Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with Father Joe Forcelle as celebrant. Interment at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Watertown.
Honorary Pallbearers were employees of UPS, the Hospice Nurses, Adeline Egersett, Lynn McGrath and Betty Mack.
Active Pallbearers were Henry Rauen, Clint Nelson, Jason Bublitz, Doug Schiernbeck, Don McGrath and Dave Vanderweide.
Ardella Marie Bublitz, daughter of John and Anna Mae (Lantgen) Schiernbeck, was born on December 18, 1937 in Watertown, South Dakota. She graduated from Munger Number 3 school in 1953. She was united in marriage with Donald A. Bublitz on October 3, 1957 in Winnemucca, Nevada. Ardella was employed with the United Parcel Service and retired after 25 years of service.
Ardella enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and her dog, Mollie. She also enjoyed traveling and gardening.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Ardella is survived by her children, Ronald (Linda) Bublitz, Rodney (Cindy) Bublitz and Kevin (Jackie) Bublitz all of Watertown, SD; her siblings, Duane (Pat) Schiernbeck of Yakima, WA, David (Kay) Schiernbeck of Fargo, ND, Lydia (Vince) Thompson of Lewiston, ID and Harland "Paul" (Donna) Bublitz of Altamont, SD; her 13 grandchildren; and her 8 great grandchildren.
