The property was purchased in 1852 by John Anderson. The land was then deeded to Phillip D Barger who sold it to King David Bell in 1891. There is no record of any burials after he purchased the land. Green Yewell bought the land originally from the Bells in the early 1930s. He deeded it eventually to his son, Clarence (who went by "Felix").
Clarence deeded it to his son, Robert "Shorty" Yewell, in 1947.
