She was born Sept. 5, 1933, in Whiteville, N.C., a daughter of the late James T. and Gladys Blake Danford.
She was retired from the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Women of Myrtle Beach Moose Lodge 1959.
Survivors include two sons, Lyle J. Easter Jr. of Marrero, La., and James Henry Easter of Angier, N.C.; three daughters, Sherlyn E. Noe and Susan G. Easter, both of Myrtle Beach, and Debbie L. Haselden of Murrells Inlet; two brothers, DeLayne Danford of Hartwell, Ga., and James Edward Danford of Jacksonville, N.C.; a sister, Ruby Joyce of Biloxi, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
