This GI was a Door Gunner on a Rotary Wing Aircraft (Helicopter) . He was listed as MIA Dec 2, 1967 with a date of death of 27 March 1978. The crash site was found in 1993 and his remains were positively identified in 2002 with his body interred at Arlington. I found one document that indicates he may have been married, will need to check further. I wanted to sponsor him as I used to have a copper MIA bracelet like one found by a Facebook reader in an auction in Custer, SD. He wants to give it to a relative and I am searching in Ancestry.com.
