Mrs. Edwin W. Bauer, 65, of 1028 N.W. Fifth St., died this morning at St. Lucas Deaconess Hospital after an illness of several weeks duration. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church with the Rev. F. A. Ludwig officiating. Interment will be in Maple Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Boldt Funeral Home from Friday afternoon until noon on Saturday and at the church from noon until the hour of the service. Mrs. Bauer is survived by her husband, Edwin; a daughter, Lorraine of Faribault; three sons: Lester of Washington, D.C., Everett of Iceland and Roger of Washington, D.C.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Vincent Rootkie of Brook Park; and two brothers: Ernest Steffen of Faribault and Walter Steffen of Minneapolis.
