She was born in Fulton county and came to Waynesboro 15 years ago. She was a prominent member of the First United Brethren church and a young woman who had won to herself many friends.
She was taken ill one week ago today. she had been in failing health for the last year. Death was due to tuberculosis.
She is survived by her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J. W. Swisher, 138 North Potomac avenue; her husband and the following children: Lawrence, Francis and Hermie Beamer, all at home.
Mrs. Hermie Folk, Lancaster, and Katie Bretzler, Harrisburg, sisters of Mr. Beamer, were at Mrs. Beamer's bedside when she died.
Funeral services private at the house Friday, 4 p.m. Interment at Burns Hill cemetery.
