Ronald Haedge, 61, of Hempstead, TX, passed away after a courageous fight against cancer. Ron lost the battle but won the war as he went home to be with Jesus leaving pain and affliction in his past forever. Ron graduated from Hempstead High School in 1969, where he was student council president and ran track. Ron married his high school sweetheart, Deborah Lynn DeGaugh, on August 19, 1972 at First Baptist Church of Hempstead. He attended The University of Texas at Austin where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1973. Shortly thereafter, Ron and Debbie moved back to Hempstead where their family grew to include 2 beautiful daughters, Jamie and Kristin. Those left to treasure his memory are his parents, Milbert and Evelyn Haedge; his loving wife of 39 years, Deborah Haedge; his two daughters- JAMI Aguilar and husband Chris, their 3 children-Carson, Chloe and Claire; KRISTIN Jones and husband Orion, their 2 children-Taylor and Nicole; his brother, Alan Haedge & wife Linda, their 5 children-Robby and wife Amanda, Michael, Lisa, Matthew and Emily; his sister Janis Barnett and husband Richard, their 4 children-Ryan and Sarah Dunivant, Brett and Todd Barnett; sister-in-law Nancy Stolz- son Keith and wife Shannon, their 2 children-Addyson and Kole; and countless others whose lives he touched. Ron enjoyed spending time outdoors, working on cars, flying his airplane, woodworking, playing guitar, Texas Country Music, and traveling with his family.
