Together they helped Marion Rath, 83, of Milwaukee to two adjoining graves. Her husband, Edward A. Rath, had served in World War II. He died in 1985, and she had kept his ashes. A son, William A. Rath, had served in Vietnam, and died in 2001. 'They were just buried here last year,' said Edward Rath Jr., now of Champaign, Ill. 'It may be the beginning of a tradition,' said his wife, Lois Rath, of the gathering."
