His death information notes that he was born in Poland on March 9, 1872, parents' names are not noted on his death certificate. He passed away at St. Alexis Hospital in Cleveland of Bilateral Bronchopneumonia at the age of 72 years, 8 months, 5 days. His address was listed as 8105 Pulaski Avenue, Cleveland, having lived in the USA '50 years'. According to the 1900 census record, Joseph immigrated to America in 1892. His occupation is listed as 'Retired'. The informant was Peter Shimshock, his son who changed the spelling of his own surname, same address.
