Peter F. Kaiser
Peter Frederick Kaiser, 94, 1610 W. Palmer St., died Saturday at a local hospital after a short illness. He was born Jan. 23, 1880, in Yankton, S.D. He married Myrtle Maybelle McGowan, Jan 21, 1911, in Sioux City. She died June 29, 1950 in Sioux City.
He attended schools in Yankton and farmed in the area for many years before coming to Sioux City in 1947 when he retired. He was a member of Boniface Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George F. (Zella Marie) Wagner of Sioux City; two brothers, Lawrence H. of Denver, Colo, and Raymond of Yankton; two sisters, Sr. Mary Verena (Frances) Kaiser, O.S.B., Hampton, Virginia, and Mrs Cecil (Gertrude)Fischer of yankton; one grandchild and one great-granchild.
The body was taken to the Myer Bros. Colonial Chapel.
