Charles B. Armstrong, a 30-year resident of Las Vegas, died April 10, 2004, at the age of 82. Born June 8, 1921, in Detroit. He was a retired manager of a chemical plant. Post retirement, he taught math at the Community College of Southern Nevada for almost a decade. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. His daughter, Carol, preceded him in death. Surviving him are his wife, Eleanor; daughter, Jane; and son-in-law, Kevin Finan. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Boulder City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association. Arrangements handled by Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
