END OCCURS FRIDAY AT THE CHOTEAU HOSPITAL;
FUNERAL TUESDAY P.M.
Wessel Spoelder, 79, a native of Holland and resident of the T.L. Gap district in Teton county since 1905, passed away last Friday at the Choteau hospital where he had been a patient for about ten days. Infirmities of age and other complications brought on the end.

Mr. Spoelder was born June 13, 1858, and came to Montana when 20 years of age. In 1884 he left New York city and settled in Dakota territory. From there he came to Teton county and homesteaded in the Gap district. He was successful farmer and had a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. In religion, he was a member of the Christian Reformed church.

Survivors are two sons, Herman Spoelder of Billings, and Anthony Spoelder of Bole; three daughters, Mrs. Henrietta Magnus of Great Falls, Mrs. Gertrude Grasdock of Fairfield and Mrs. Janett Bouma of Bole; one sister, Mrs. John Timmermans of Platte, S.D., and four grand children. Mrs. Spoelder passed away about 20 years ago. A son, Wm. Henry, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Hoekman have also passed on.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Church with the Rev. R. F. Vick officiating. Music was furnished by Mrs. B. A. Roll and Mrs. R. F. Vick, vocalists, with Miss Mildred Louise Nelson at the piano. The pallbearers were: C. Sonneveld, Walter Haskell, K. R. Smith, Yelte Bakker, Jacob Luinstra and Ted Groot. Interment was made in the Choteau cemetery beside the remains of his wife.
