Rites Wednesday
J.H.Bunyard,70,of 3549 West Capitol Street, died at Baptist Hospital Monday afternoon at 5:20 after an extended illness.
Bunyard was a native of Madison county, and has been a resident of Jackson for the past 46 years. He owned and operated Bunyard's Cafe and Grocery on East Silas Brown Street. He was a member of the Highland Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Eula Mahaffey Bunyard of Jackson; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Edge of Saltillo, and Mrs. J. W. Shealey of Jackson; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Baptist Church with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park. Baldwin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
