Verna Adamik, 54, of 60 S. County Road 575 E, died today at Porter Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 20, 1926 in Cicero, Ill., a daughter of Paul and Theresa (Darlinger) Adamik.
She is survived by three brothers, Frank of Valparaiso and Anton and Stanley of Chicago; and a sister, Jenny of Valparaiso.
Prayer service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Bartholomew Funeral home, with services at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Monsignor John Charlebois will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
