Elmer L. Bozman, son of Brady Bozman was born in Louisa County, Iowa, December 18, 1855, died May 9, 1894 near Spring Run.
He was married to Sophia A. Brewer October 31, 1877. By this union four children were born to them, two boys and two girls. On the 28th day of March 1888, he was taken down with hemorrhage of the lungs and graduallly went down by this terrible diese, comsumption until it claimed him as a victim.
At the age of twenty one he united with the Christain church and from that time on he lived in the enjoyments of the blessing of the Gospel of peace. In his sufferings he felt God was with him to comfort and sustain him in his affictions he patiently waiting the masters call. He leaves a wife, four children an aged father, two sisters, Mrs Rob Owens and Mrs. John Bevins, and a host of friends to mourn his departure. His funeral was preached in the spring Run church by the writer to a large concouse of sorrowing friends. He was buried in the Spring Run Cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
