Sycamore - Rodney D Breunlin, 57, Sycamore, died June 13, 1979, at St Anthony's Hospital in Rockford.

He was born Feb 16, 1922, the son of Henry and Bertha (Snyder) Breunlin. He owned Breunlin Sheet Metal in Sycamore for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife Harriett; two sons, Doug of DeKalb, Jim of Elgin; one daughter, Rebecca Morris of Beloit, Wis; one brother, Jim of Orlando Beach, Fla.

He was preceded in death by one son.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Sycamore and American Legion Post 99.

Private services will be Saturday at noon in the VanNatta Funeral Home in Sycamore. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Sycamore. Visitation is from 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Breunlin - Memorial service for Amelia Breunlin, 76, Capri Circle Ormond Beach who died at home on Monday December 6 will be Saturday December 11 at 11 am at Trinity Lutheran Church 1205 Ridgewood Avenue Holly Hill with the Rev Frederick W Schultz officiating.

Born in Bayonne New Jersey, Mrs Breunlin moved to this area in 1955 joining Trinity Lutheran Church in Holly Hill. She was employed by the Volusia County School System retiring in 1989 as Bookkeeper from Seabreeze Sr High School.

She and her husband Jim traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe including many cruises which they loved until he passed away in 1999.

She continued to travel to Europe and around the US with friends and family on several occasions after Jim passed away with her final trip abroad being to Russia a lifelong desire since her family was Ukrainian.

She was very generous and enjoyed helping others. She delivered Meals on Wheels volunteered at the Ormond Library and Tomoka Elementary School and served meals at Halifax Urban Ministries until her illness forced her to retire from volunteering.

She loved her church family at Trinity and served on the Fellowship Committee and enjoyed attending weekly Bible studies. She enjoyed reading spending time at the beach gardening and being with her family.

She is survived by three sons: Jim and his wife Susan St Thomas USVI; Bill and his girlfriend Trish Daytona Beach; and Mark and his wife Annette Ormond Beach; one granddaughter Katie Ormond Beach who was the love of her life; a sister Alice Eddy Brownsville Texas; and many nieces and nephews and their children who all loved her dearly and will miss her forever.

Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran School's Scholarship Fund 1205 Ridgewood Avenue, Holly Hill, FL 32117 or Hospice of Volusia/Flagler 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
