Augustus Morris, 61, former
grocer, died yesterday morning after
a long illness at his home in
Villa Route. He is survived by his
wife, Mrs. Ada Morris (d. Oct. 12, 1975):
three sons. Basil of Villa Route and Clark
and Clifford of Sanderson; eight daughters,
Mrs. Susan Moore. Mrs. Ruby
Kinder, Mrs. Gussie Wallace and
Miss Mac Morris at Villa Route,
Mrs. Edith Kennedy Sanderson,
Mrs. Mamie Bias of Charleston,
Mrs. Mary Huffman and Mrs. Martha
James of Reed; three brothers,
Thomas and Charles of Sanderson
and L. A. Morris—of Charleston.
Funeral is set'for 11 a. m. tomorrow
at the Valley Grove Nazarene
church, Revs. C. D. Taylor and C.
W. Skeleton officiating. Burial will
bc In Kennedy cemetery. Noble
Long mortuary is in charge.
Active pallbearers will be Jasper
Kinder, Carl Moore, Carl Huffman,
Wilbur Jones, Burt Kennedy and
Claude Smith. Honorary pallbearers
