Obituary: [Morning Herald, Hagerstown, Maryland, March 14, 1970]

Mrs. Minnie R. Harshman, 85, 732 Jefferson Blvd., died Friday morning at Western Maryland State Hospital after a long illness.

She was born near Ellerton, Md., a daughter of John William and H. Lucretia Shuff Hooper. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren; Altruistic Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Martin of Hagerstown; son, John W. of Myersville; two grandchildren; two great - grandchildren and one great - great - grandchild.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a. m. at the Norment Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. DeWitt L. Miller will officiate; burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 7 to 9.
