Vera Double passed from this earth into the hands of our Lord on Wednesday January 25 2012 at home in Valencia Ca. where she resided with her daughter Deborah Blethen for the pass six years she was 85 years old
Vera was born in Salford England a surburb of Manchester and came to this country as a british war bride with her deceased husband Richard Earl,just after world war II ended,she became a naturalized citizen in early 1950's,Vera was a homemaker and mother of eight children and raised two grandchildren and one great grandchild
Vera is survived by a sister Joyce Birch daughters Karen Hajek,Deborah Blethen,Patricia Foster Maria Boydstun four sons David,Howard,Tony and Timothy Double,she was preceded in death by her parents Charles Cropper and Agnes Patterson a sister Dorothy Bratby a brother Alan Cropper her husband Richard Earl a daughter Vicki Lynn and two sons Richard Alan and Phillip Scott,additionally she leaves behind many grandchildren Tyrene Hickson Weitz Jennifer,Mary ann Ricky Double nicholas Foster Michelle Henkendorn Foster Kirth,Wendy Heckendorn Foster Wager,Brian Heckendorn Foster Sarah Christine,Bryan James,Brandy Michelle Double Joshua Robert, Brandon Robert,Elizabeth Rose,Great Grandchildren Damien,Kara,Rayleigh and Grayson Double
