Edna Clevenger died during the 1918 Spanish influenza epidemic which killed 7,350 Oklahomans. She died 2 days after the WWI Armistice was signed.

Mrs C P Clevenger died at the family home east of Waurika Wednesday morning at 5 o'clock after an illness of several days of influenza and pneumonia. She leaves a husband and four children. Funeral services were conducted at the cemetery by Charles Daily Thursday morning.
