Daughter of Charles and Flora (Walz) Bunch, wife of Frank Milton Gay. Viola, mother of nine children, was one of Indiana's original War Mothers of WW II. A life long teacher, Viola attended Valparaiso Universty (Ind.) and later graduated from Indiana University at the age of 61. She was also involved with the Methodist Church and traveled the world. Viola was deeply loved by both the community and our family. My maternal grandmother.
