The community has been saddened by the death of four-year-old Robbie Zaitz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Zaitz. Robbie died at his home, 619 West Seventh street at 5 p.m., Wednesday.
Robbie was born January 26, 1955 at Boulder. In his short life he endeared himself to adults and children alike with his kind and gentle manner and his bright mind.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Laurie; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney S. Olds of Leadville and Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Bader of Longmont; two aunts, Mrs. William Persons of Denver and Mrs June Franzen of Leadville; one uncle, Frank Zaitz of Westminster and five first cousins.
Mass of the Angles will be offered Saturday at 9 a.m., in St. Joseph's church.
In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society, Lake County Division, to be used by the Tumor Research Department of the University of Colorado Medical Center, as a memorial.
