Mary Anne Kilmer Butcher
Born into Eternal Life, Mary Anne Kilmer Butcher on Friday, January 13, 2012 at City Hospital.

Born on November 9, 1935 in Martinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leo Kilmer, Sr. and Nell Fay Hobbs Kilmer.

She had served the Lord for 17 years as a Daughter of Charity of Saint Vincent DePaul, returning home to assist the needs of her family. She was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, Inwood, WV.

She was a reading specialist in the Berkeley County School System. She taught at Marlowe Elementary School.

Her life was one of service to the poor, lived in simplicity and kindness to everyone.

She is survived by her husband Retired Chief Boatswains Mate U.S. Navy Augustine Alexander Butcher; three sisters, Fay Kilmer Smith, Julia Kilmer Small and husband, John, and Elizabeth "Betsy" Chrisman and husband, Alvin all of Martinsburg; and a number of loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Leo Kilmer, Jr.

Services and interment prayers are private.
