Mathew Farrell
The funeral of Mathew Farrell was held Saturday afternoon at the Carpenter and Waldo Funeral Home. The Rev. Leslle E.Gould, pastor of the North Baptist Church, officiated.
Interment was in Big Flats. The bears were Douglas Van Etten, George Miller, Thomas Taylor, Charlies Willson, Glen Johnson and Herbert Hughes.

Matthew Farrell

Matthew Farrell, aged 60, died Wednesday evening at 8:45 o'clock at his home, 140 Pearl street, following a period of two years of ill health caused by heart trouble. Mr. Farrell had been confined to his bed about six weeks.
Mr. Farrell was born in Ridgeberry, Pa. December 20,1871, the son of John and Mary Farrell. He was married 35 years ago to Miss Bertha Allen, of Big Fats, who survives.
For the past 16 years he has resided in Corning, where he has been employed by the New York Central Railroad as a car repairer.
Besides his widow he is survived by one son, James Farrell, of Corning; one daughter, Mrs. Lilian Oakley, of Napanoch; and two grandchildren, James, Jr., and Dorothy Marie Farrell, of this city.
The body has been taken to the Carpenter and Waldo Funeral Home where friend may call. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
