Gerald E. Pool, 64, of 815 Chicago St., Sheboygan Falls, died Friday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital. Mr. Pool was employed for 40 years at the Kohler Co. as a standards engineer, retiring in 1972. Born Aug. 6, 1909, at Greenbush, a son of the late Albert and Cora Gould (sic) Pool, he attended Kohler High School and was graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1932 with a bachelor of arts degree.

On Aug. 15, 1933, he married Ethel Estabrooks at Fond du Lac. Mr. Pool was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club, and of Faith United Meothodist Church of Sheboygan Falls.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Kelm, of Oostburg; four sons, Edward of Chicago, James, of Denver, Colo., Richard, of Milwaukee, and George, of Howards Grove; eight grandchildren; a brother, Owen, of Sheboygan Falls; and three sisters, Mrs. Albert Ehren and Mrs. L.P. Hamerla, both of Sheboygan, and Mrs. John Maersch, of Columbia, S.C.

Funeral services will be held Monday at the Huehns Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. John McBeth, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Kohler Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Sunday until the time of services Monday. A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Pool's name for the church building fund.
