GREEN SPRINGS, Oct 21, (Spl)-- William O. Kenan, 72, founder of the Green Springs Echo in 1895, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. C. N. Billington of Cleveland Monday morning. He had been ill for several years with heart trouble.
Mr. Kenan was also publisher of the Clyde Democrat and of the DeKalb County, Herald at Butler, Ind., after which he was in the theater business in Adrain, Mich. He returned here in 1921 and published the Echo until 1934 when he sold to Audritsh brothers who have since been publishers and retired.
He will be buried in Green Springs.
