Robert Leon, known as Bob by friends grew up in Pasadena & Ft. Worth; served in World War 11 with the 18th Engineers. from Dec. 1941 through Sep. 1945; serving most of that time in the Aleutian Islands. He was the oldest son in a family with six brothers and one sister. After the service, he worked in construction and pipeline work operating heavy equiptment, later owning an excavation business. He was a mason, loved his work, family and friends.
