GALESBURG -- Louise D. Adcock, 87, of Bangor, Pa., formerly of Galesburg, died at 10:20 p.m. Sunday, March 7, 1999, at Brookmont Health Care Center in Effort, Pa.

Born Sept. 3, 1911, in Coldbrook to Frederick and Euseba Andrews Davis, she married Charles T. Adcock. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, C. William of Hockessin, Del.; one daughter, Anita Sikra of Bangor; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Adcock in 1952; one brother; and three sisters.

She worked for Lerner's Clothing Store in Youngstown, Ohio, for more than 25 years, retiring in 1975. She was a member of Lynkirk Christian Church in Youngstown and attended St. John's Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Bangor.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Abingdon Cemetery in Abingdon. The Rev. Ray McLaren will officiate. Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Abingdon or Galesburg or the Alzheimer's Association.
