Marion C. Silverman (Taylor) Sorensen, 86, formerly of Rocky Hill and Glastonbury, died Tuesday, (February 10, 2004) at Haven Health Care Center in Rocky Hill. She was predeceased by her husband, Carter K. Sorensen; a daughter, Maryan Courtney; a son, David K. Sorensen; and a brother, Merton Taylor. She leaves behind four daughters, Carol Arpin of Westbrook, Barbara Lewis of Kentucky, Susan O'Hara of Rocky Hill, and Deborah Brozowsky of Manchester; two brothers, Richard Silverman and Burton Taylor, both of Rocky Hill; a nephew; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sat. 10 a.m. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
