DALLAS Services for Joseph Martin Higginbotham, 68, Dallas, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the SparkmanHillcrest Funeral Home Northwest Highway Chapel. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas.

Mr. Higginbotham died Sunday in a Tyler hospital.

He was born May 30, 1921 in Dallas and graduated from Baylor University. A retired stock broker, Mr. Higginbotham was a founding board member of Hide-A-Way Lake in Lindale.

Survivors include two sons, J. Mart Higginbotham and Ralph L. Higginbotham, both of Dallas; two daughters, Cindy Higginbotham Sawyer and Peggy Higginbotham Jackson, both of Dallas; two sisters, Josephine Knight and Katharine Russell, both of Dallas; 10 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends following the funeral at 9465 Heatherdale Dr., Dallas. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of choice.
