News From Milano. Mrs. Alpha Mullins, 45, died at her home in San Antonio Wednesday morning, October 4, after a short illness of pneumonia. Her body was brought to Milano and interred by the side of her husband, the late Guy Mullins who preceded her in death 2 years ago. Mrs. Mullins was born and reared at Milano, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Jim White. She had lived for several years in San Antonio. She had a host of friends in Milano who were grieved at her death. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. W.J. Burris and Mrs. W.J. Thomas of San Antonio; three sisters, Mrs. L.W. Caffey of Woodsboro, Mrs. Maude Smith of Oklahoma, and Miss Vivian White of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Horace and Claude White of Milano and two grand children. Funeral services were held at Milano Baptist church conducted by Rev. A.J. McCary, pastor First Methodist church of Cameron. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home directed.
