Jesse Melvin Kelsey, age 83, died February 18, 1994, in Orem, Utah, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 25, 1910, in Elmo, Utah, a son of Calvin C. and Annie Elizabeth Elder Kelsey. He married Juanita Matson on April 23, 1937, in Nephi, Utah. She preceded him in death on October 6, 1980. He is survived by one son and four daughters: Ron Kelsey of Orem, Utah; Mrs. David (Lanita) Thompson of Orem, Utah; Shanna DeHart of Spanish Fork, Utah; Mrs. Bill (Mary) Tanner of South Jordan, Utah; Mrs. Jim (Peggy) Innis of Costa Mesa, California; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Franklin 'Bud' Kelsey of Pleasant Grove, Utah. He was preceded in death by a son, Melvin Ray Kelsey. Burial was February 22, 1994.
