She was born in Quincy, MA on February 16, 1930, daughter of the late Raymond F. and Cora (Cronin) Vinal. She was the wife of the late Leo Caron who died in 2009. She worked for 17 years at the former Idle Wild Farms. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Williamsville Fire Department in Rogers. Merrie took great pride in her family and her friends.
She is survived by three sons, Timothy Perras of Dayville, William Perras of Rogers, Kerry Baker of East Killingly; stepson Ricky Caron of Putnam and stepdaughter Brenda Beauregard of FL. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother Raymond Vinal, sister Nancy Harwood and her beloved daughter Kathleen Medbury and infant son Robert Baker. Merrie also took great pride in her love for country music and her talent for singing. She was loved by everyone and will be truly missed by all.
