WELL KNOWN LUMBERMAN
EXPIRES IN MISSISSIPPI.

Albert Aatchison, 52 years old, a well known lumberman of Paducah, died at Houlke, Miss., at 10:30 o'clock this morning after a short illness of pneumonia, according to a telegram received at noon.

The body will arrive here Sunday and will be taken to the funeral chapel of Nance & Pool, Sixth street and Broadway, where the funeral will be held at 2:30 p. m. Burial will take place in Oak Grove cemetery.

Mr. Atchison was in charge of the Palmer & Ferguson timber operations in Mississippi, going to Houlke September 1. He was for many years connected with the Ohio Spoke and Rim company and its successors, E. E. Bell & Son, on South Third street, and was a widely known and efficient timber inspector and buyer.

Mr. Atchison was born in Cincinnati but removed to Paducah about 23 years ago.

Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Leonia Atchison, of 433 North Fourth street; and one daughter, Mrs. P. D. Rooney, of Seattle, Wash: Mrs. Rooney was formerly Miss Calista Atchison, a trained nurse of this city. He is also survived by one brother, residing at Wildwood, Mich.

Mr. Atchisbn was widely known in Paducah and news of his death was a shock to his many friends.
