Agnes Scott Bell was born the sixth child of William Bell (b. abt 1823) and Agnes Scott (b. abt 1828) in Glasgow,Lanark,Scotland. She immigrated from Scotland to Canada in 1882 and married John Cameron (b. 1857) on 17 May 1882 at Ile de Montreal. They had one child in Canada and then moved to Ramsey County, Minnesota where they had 4 more children before moving to Prince George's County, Maryland where they had three more children, one of whom lived past early childhood. John grew vegetables on his Maryland farm and Agnes tended to the home and family. Agnes is buried with her husband and three of their children.
