NORTH — Corina S. Addison, 86, of North, died Friday, January 27, 2006.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2006, at First Baptist Church of North with Rev. Larry Shull, Rev. James Watterson, and Rev. William Courtney officiating. Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The casket will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Mrs. Addison was born in Neeses, a daughter of the late Lewis David and Jessie Bell Rutland Sturkie. She was a member of First Baptist Church of North. She was formerly employed by Stone Manufacturing Company. She was married to the late John J. Addison.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary A. and Rev. William Courtney of North, and Barbara A. Holliday and special friend, Neal, of North; three sons,Robert L. and Brenda Addison of North, William M. "Bill" and Joyce Addison of North, and Joseph A. Addison of Irmo; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Culler-McAlhany Funeral Home and other times at the home, 318 Addison Road, North.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of North.
