Versace Chanel Davis was a feisty, beautiful purebread West Highland Terrier who was born June 30, 1995 in Colorado. The little Scottish prankster and loving pup was given to Tiffany J. Davis for her 22nd birthday gift in September of 1995.

Versace loved to chase squirrels and cats out of her Denver owner's yard, follow the Mistress of the house everyplace she went and take many walks in the Highland neighborhood in Denver, CO.

She came into Tiffany's life during a painful time - a couple of years after losing her beloved grandfather. Versace was there for every important moment in Tiffany's life - through earning 2 college degrees, many romances, unexciting retail work in the early days, the excitement in gaining her first radio production gig on a nationally syndicated radio show, through a very serious medical diagnosis and many other comedies and tragedies that ensued through the years.

Versace was a hit in the Highlands area, always garnering lots of hugs, pet downs and attention during her walks.

Unexpectedly in October of 2006, little "Chachi" was diagnosed with a rare form of breast cancer and passed away on December 5, 2006 at the age of 11 by her mistresses side. It still feels like yesterday - she was with me for a great portion of my life and I can't get used to life without her. I am so glad she came into my life. A couple of friends saw her in a pet shop window back in '95 and kept telling me about her. I had to go see her for myself. I fell instantly in love and my Mother and Grandmother each chipped in and paid the pricey $500 for her. I still cannot really hold it together when I see an ad on television that features a Westie - I get even sadder for her. But I know she is safe over at the Rainbow Bridge and waiting for me.

Tiffany still keeps Chachi's little hot pink and green tennis ball in her room as a memento to the loving, wonderful and highly missed pooch.
