Son of Queen Emma and Kamehameha IV. Became ill after his father ran him under cold water during a temper tantrum. After his death, Kamehameha IV believed himself responsible, even though the child had become ill through brain fever. The king never recovered from the depression caused by this, and died a year later. Albert was also known as "Kahaku O Hawaii", and his marker at the Royal Mausoleum bears this name.
