Died, at the home of her only son, Louis Schmidt, at the brick works, Mrs. Catharine Schmidt, at the age of 79 years. Mrs. Schmidt was born at Klein Gladebusch, Holstein, Germany, and came to this country in 1886, being sent for by her son. Her husband preceded her in death in 1859, about a year after their marriage. She had, ever since her arrival in this country, made her home with her son. The funeral took place from the residence this afternoon.
