Mrs. Godfrey was born in Whaleyville. She was the widow of John Albert Godfrey.
Survivors include two sons, Albert C. Godfrey of Norfolk and Harry R. Godfrey of Southampton, Pa.; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Mondayin Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph E. French. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Onancock Fire & Rescue Department, Onanock, Va. 23417.
