MRS. CARL AHLF
Mrs. Carl Ahlf, 64, 413 West Fourth street, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in Muscatine General hospital shortly after she was admitted there. Death resulted from a heart ailment.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mathias church. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Riley funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Alilf, a resident of Muscatine 45 years, was born at Wilton March 16, 1899, the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Kelly Carroll. She was a member of St. Mathias church and the Altar and Rosary society.
The former Marie Cecelia Carroll, she was married July 3, 1921, to Carl Ahlf at St Mithias Church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Robert Ahlf, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Fred C. Bahr, Muscatine; three sisters, Miss Margaret Carroll and Mrs. Esther Rauch, Muscatine, and Mrs. Elmer (Katherine) Paul, Iowa City., and five grandchildren.
