When Franklin was 'in charge' if the Atlanta Historical Society he hired me to appraise many items. I found him charming and honest.

Franklin, what a true gentlemen. I met him only once having been introduced at the Swan House at a reception for a long time Rich's employee. I only wish I could have him answer a million questions to quelch my thirst for history of the Atlanta I love. Truly he was a remarkable man and his passing is a real loss to Atlanta.
