Sarah Elizabeth Maney was the daughter of Charles Walter Maney 1856 and Mary Elizabeth Holland.
She was the last of 10 children who lived in the family. He mother had two births after her that were infant deaths. Her mother died in 1900 when she was three years old. Her father never remarried, so she was raised by older siblings as well as her father.
Sarah married Julius Carl Winnega on September 14, 1915 in Rolling, Langade, Wisconsin. Julius was the half brother of Adolph Winnega, who had married Mary Jane, the sister of Sarah.
The couple lived in Rolling and Price in Langlade county. They had seven children.
