Elbert Bradford may also be found by the name Albert Bradford. Obituary found in the Healdsburg Tribune April 10, 1902, which states that he died the week before putting his death as the week of March 29-April 5, 1902. He is also found in Luce's booklets of cemetery records which may be found at the Healdsburg Library. There is no grave marker but he lies beside his brother,Robert Alvah Bradford, Robert's son Roy Alvah Bradford and Robert's wife Fannie Robertson. A plot photo may be added but there is no grave marker. If I add a photo, I would be willing to have it replaced by a better photo. Elbert was the son of Daniel Webster Bradford and his first cousin Martha Amelia Bradford. Bradford Mountain outside of Healdsburg, rises up from Dry Creek was named for this family, which purchased the property in 1874. Another plot at Oak Mound has Daniel and Martha and other family members including Daniel's mother Cynthia Bradford and Martha's parent's Joseph Bradford and Nancy Bennett Bradford. Elbert married Hattie Baker and had two sons, Elbert Alvia Bradford and Edgar Bradford before his early death. Edgar is buried at Oak Mound FG#36367181. The Bradford Brothers had an orchestra and also participated in early winegrowing. They sold wine on their own and also sold their grapes to Gallo. They also particpated in ranching, hunting fishing and possibly logging. They may have raised horses. Photos exist of Elbert and other family members.
