VIDALIA, Ga., April 29—John E. Bacon, 69, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Remer Powell, here Tuesday afternoon after suffering a stroke of paralysis earlier in the week.
He is survived by a widow and six children, all grown, and a number of grandchildren.
The surviving sons are Herman, John, Jr., and Hobart, all of Vidalia, daughters are Mrs. Remer Powell, Mrs. Ezra Lampp and Mrs. Vann Carroll, all of Vidalia.
