Wife of Fred Jerome Blocher (1873-1965). Daughter of Charles Ives and Eva Josephine (Lamb) Ives. Mother of Eva, Rachel and Helen Blocher.

The Rockford Morning Star, Sunday, July 24, 1966:

Franklin Grove - Mrs. Eva Blocher, 86, died Friday in Amboy Public Hospital after a brief illness. Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Arnold McGaffey, Dixon and Mrs. David Wiegle, Amboy; four grandchildren; a brother, George Ives, Franklin Grove. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Mihm Funeral Home, Amboy. Burial will be in the Prairie Repose Cemetery, Amboy. Friends may call in the funeral home today.
