HARRINGTON - Charily M.
Coffin, 90, died Jan. 7, 1999, at a
Machias hospital after a brief ill-
ness. She was born Nov. 21, 1908,
at Pembroke, the daughter of Wil-
liam and Lizzie (Davis) Stanhope.
She was a member of the Har-
rington Baptist Church. She is sur-
vived by her son, Timothy Coffin
and his wife, Meredith of Harring-
ton; two grandchildren, Chad and
Christina; two great-grandchildren,
Joshua and Spring; several nieces,
nephews, and cousins. She was
predeceased by her husband, James
T. Coffin in 1985; and by on infant
daughter, Rebecca.
At her request, there will be no
visiting hours. Graveside services
will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10,
at Forest Hills Cemetery, Harrington.
