Louise was the daughter of James Thomas Thorp and Mary Countryman (Counterman). The 9th of 13 children. James & Mary traveled from NY to Bristol. The story as told by Louise is in part, related in the 'History of Bristol Ohio' by Kachur. Louise married 1st to Henry Allen Pettit on 21Jun1857 and had Leroy Austin & Frank T Pettit. She married 2nd to Collins H Atwood on 10ay1863 and had Emma Louise Atwood. She married 3rd to Judah O Eastman on 10Oct1865. She married 4th to Alonzo Barrett on 8Mar1870 and had Mary Eliza Barrett and Myron Alonzo Barrett
