Born Mary Frances Lee in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Cecil and Grace (Ritchison) Lee. Moving to Muncie in 1937, she attended Muncie Central High School. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Miles. During this time she worked at Muncie Gear the Delco Battery. Later, she married Harry Bartlett. She retired from Delco Bettery in 1993. Following retirement, Mary enjoyed playing euchre with her friends, spending time with family and cooking.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands; sisters, Vi Anderson and Lucy Simmerly; brother, Eddie Lee; and niece, Sheila Jean Sharkitt.
The family extends a special thanks to all the staff at The Woodlands and Dr. Anthony Dowell for the exceptional kindness and care they gave Mary Frances during her illness.
Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Parson Mortuary. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Parson Mortuary, followed by burial at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
